(An oldie but a goodie - Rebirth Collage from 2007)
No new art to show as I was struck down by the dreaded Stomach Flu this week. Man, that has to be one of the worst ! Thankfully, I am feeling a lot better today and have enough energy to get the house ready for an Easter weekend visit from my pal Suzanne from Montreal. She is bringing her 100 pound Old English Sheepdog, Sam, with her. So between Chica who is shedding her winter coat like crazy, and Sam, who brings back in every speck of dirt possible with him every time he goes outside, I don't think I will be worrying too much about house cleaning until things go back to normal on Monday. Just some fresh linens on the guest bed, a shiny bathroom, some spring flowers on the dining room table and a well-stocked fridge and we should be all set for a lovely weekend !
Wishing you a Happy and Blessed Easter to those who celebrate the holiday, and a wonderful spring weekend to those who don't ! Either way, I hope you find many moments of rebirth to celebrate !
Lots of love from the Queen who is so thankful her insides are back where they belong !
Hi, Kim! Great BIG {{{HUGS!}}} ... the non-squeezy kind. So sorry you had the stomach flu! That's no fun! Hope you feel much better soon! And gorgeous collage! :-)

ReplyDeleteOh no, not much fun when the Queen is ill!! Stomach flu is not fun at all...I hope you are really feeling more like yourself. A visit from a dear friend will be just the tonic...and truthfully, she won't care about clean and tidy...fresh sheets, fresh flowers, good food, good conversation and laughter is I'm sure just what Suzanne has in mind!!
ReplyDeleteWishing you a blessed and happy Easter!!

Happy Easter you sweetie pie! First, thank you for once again stopping by and leaving such kind words and encouragement. Today, I especially appreciated it and I wanted you to know it meant a lot.
ReplyDeleteNext, I hope you feel better. I would bring you soup and jello and sprite and crackers if I lived close enough. Maybe hubby is doing that for you and doggie is giving you get well licks.
I just love these recent artworks you've put up (even though this is an older one I realize). I especially love the Tiny Bird, New Song. Wow! After I get done blog visiting I need to go peek in your etsy. I'm lovin' the looks of those necklaces too!
