Thankfulness Thursday - Love Letters to Me !

Do you every write love letters to yourself ?

I used to do that when I was in my 30's -

when I was really in love with myself for a good while
there.
I haven't done it in a while

so I decided that for Thankfulness Thursday I would.

I won't bore you with all the gushing and sentimental stuff.

But I will tell you that it includes appreciation

for my intelligence,

my big, big heart,

my desire for justice and fairness in the world,

my imagination and creativity,

and my sense

of humor.

Write a love letter to yourself, especially if it has been a while...

And while you are listing all the great things you love about yourself,

I will bet that you will realize that the world is

    What a great idea. If we were only brought up to love ourselves, pat ourselves on the back regularly, admit when we're good at something. I agree, I hope you included your haircut, it makes you look fabulous dahling!

    I love this post and I hope you included in your letter to yourself that you are beautiful...because you are.
    I think I will just have to write a letter to myself and see what I come up with. Never thought of doing this before. I write affirmations so why not in a letter form, huh! Thanks...

    kim-what a great idea. i have never writen myself a love letter. i think of all those love letters/words wasted on guys and never did I take the time to write on for myself. well,thanks to you i will write one for me.

    What a great idea. I love all the self portraits especially that blinking eye one. It reminds me of that scene in Under the Tuscan Sun. I think I did a journal page like this before but perhaps its time for another.

    You always have the greatest ideas, I guess that is because you are the queen.
