Ch…ch…ch…changes…
My only choice is to fall.
Ah, but the ride down…
************************************
It is a rainy, windy, grey day in NH.
I love how those colorful leaves bring light in spite of the gloom.
Kind of like the bright hearts that shine in spite of the scary, hard, gross stuff in the world…
I am more excited than I can express about seeing Patti tomorrow. We have been in touch and it looks like we may have a bit of extra time together above and beyond her speaking engagement. Yay !!!! Talk about getting your world rocked… ;)
(Check out this post on her blog – my rocks are going to be a little part of the book tour. They look awesome !)
And then some sweet couple’s time with my man, exploring new places and holding hands and stuff…
Looks like it’s going to be a good one !
Have a great weekend, Beautiful Ones. I hope yours is just as far away from gloomy !
Big Fall Love !
Yeah! Enjoy Patti and sweet David this weekend. Love that gold leaf, shines right through the rain. xox Corrine
ReplyDeleteGorgeous shot of the leaf - your new birthday camera, I assume?! It is time to get all introspective, take stock of what we have done this past growing season, made even more poignant and navel-gazing by having a birthday at this time of year. It's all good (eventually).
ReplyDeleteOh I know you will have great fun with Patti!!! And time with your honey is always a plus!!
ReplyDeleteYou have blessings in store for you this weekend!
I am looking forward to a beautiful weekend as well. Some time with my grandchildren and time with my sweetie. So good!!
Love your leaf shot! Beautiful
Hugs

I love the haiku - it's so exuberant. And you have a great weekend, too, beautiful one.
ReplyDeletedriving along the windy country roads this morning, leaves and raindrops all around me...swoon.

ReplyDeleteBig Fall Love to you, too!! Great haiku. It reminds me of what a real autumn season should be like...although I'm liking the South Florida air lately (meaning there's no humidity, and that's a good thing!). Happy Weekend! Have fun!!
ReplyDeleteLove it! Fun!
ReplyDeleteHow exciting! I'm so envious! But... Hubby and I will be spending the weekend with friends that we see only a couple times a year and things have been so... well... effed up the last year or so, we haven't even seen them that often... Anyway... fun WILL be had! Enjoy your adventure!
ReplyDeleteYour Haiku fits me perfectly right now as I am slowly falling down from my sugar high of this afternoons gluttony of gelato! LOL
