Magnolia Heart
Broken by winter’s dead weight
Still filled with love’s bloom
For my friend Kim, who inspires me in so many ways.
Love you, Friend.

ReplyDeleteWonderful haiku. Nature does inspire us with the resilience she shows us. Broken branches, yet alive and vibrant. Very nice.

I have a small magnolia in my garden it has never bloomed because we've had a succession of harsh winters,I thought it was lost, but then I noticed a pop of green at soil level it's called hope!
