Sharing The Joy–A Warrior’s Work

From this week’s Joy List :

In the Queen of Arts Studio this morning…

“Rejoicing in ordinary things is not sentimental or trite. It actually takes guts. Each time we drop our complaints and allow everyday good fortune to inspire us, we enter the warrior’s world.” – Pema Chodron

  3. Kim, you are able to find the joy in the everyday, in the small things...being able to do that means that all the bigger things that are so "obvious" contain even more joy.

I love that quote...it's ringing right through my spirit and my soul this morning.

love you...and all your bright, shiny joy! xoxo

  15. Kim, your embroidery floss picture remind me of this delightful lady I met when I did the thread project. (Http://threadproject.com). This older lady came with some threads for me. It was a box of embroidery floss that her mother had bought in the 1930's. It looks really different from the embroidery floss you get today. I feel very privileged to use it.
