Clothes worn with bright scarves,
My cat, my India Ink,
That’s my Black Friday.
(Looking for Love – Art journal page from 2009 – nice ink work, Kimbo !)
There will be no shopping for me today.
Instead, a nice sleep in and a cozy, rainy day with my sweet Man, lounging, reading, maybe playing with the India Ink a little…
Still giving thanks for simple joys over here…
Big Love to you, Beautiful Ones!

ReplyDeleteYour little spot of India Ink looks like he was about to bolt. Is the averse to having his picture taken?
ReplyDeleteI took my car in for servicing, then played hostess to the cable guy who tried his best to fix two or three different issues. He finally decided I need to set up another appointment and ask them to run a new outlet because he thinks there's a short somewhere on the existing lines.
So THAT's the new black! I am not even going to pretend I can catch up reading and responding in blogland. Enjoy your long, cozy, if rainy, weekend.

I cannot think of a better choice for Black Friday! India Ink is a charmer--looking like he stepped out of the pages of one of your lovely drawings. Your pen and ink work is soooo interesting and colorful. Cozy up Kim and have a good one with your fella.
