My world is rocked…

The rest of today is going to be all about the rocks.

Not just because I have an order to fill, but because I just remembered the joy that I get when I sit down and paint those sweet messages from the Universe on those smooth pieces of stone and I am determined to fill this day with whatever joy I can.

No, I am not acting like nothing has happened, as though our world has not be cracked open and its insides exposed, or like thousands of us haven’t died, and many thousands, millions of us aren’t suffering so very much in this moment.

I am acting like all of that has happened and choosing to BE in this moment, LIVE this precious day, because I have been given this gift and I sure don’t want to waste it in fear and worry.

So I quit Facebook today indefinitely – it was too hard to come back to a place of being with all of the emotion and tons of information happening there.

I will still blog because that is my way of putting some of my love and light into the world and I also need to be connected to the Hearts I love so much !

I will no longer watch the news as it goes straight into my heart but will read a bit here and there just to keep informed.

Yep, the rest of the day will be all about the rocks…

and the sights, smells, sounds, tastes and feelings that I have around me. I may even get super into washing the dishes or folding laundry later.

I just know that I have to BE in this moment, LIVE my day to the fullest and

for the gift that I have been given.

Thank you for this Day.

Sending Big Love and Light to you, Beautiful Ones !

good idea kim! your rocks give so many a boost when they need it!even Toni's grown up patients find comfort in having their own rock to hold onto when things are going downhill! thanks for passing that support on!

A wise move to stay away from social media and the news...it becomes too depressing in a way that we can do nothing about. Life is tragic at times in large and small proportions. It doesn't mean we care less when we don't want to be reminded over and over and over.

I'm glad you are spending time with your rocks..and it's not really strange at all that my post today includes one of your beautiful rocks.

We are in sync I think. But then, aren't we always?? Love you! ♥

Good plan Kim...stay with the love. ROCK ON SISTA! This morning was my first time to see images from Japan, since I do not own TV, and it was a video on FB.My head is NOT in the sand either, I light candles and say prayers, but I refuse to imprint those images on my heart. It changes nothing about how much I care, pray and hope. PEACE

Wouldn't it be great if all the survivors in Japan could receive one of your rocks with a little bit of encouragement and inspiration! When everything you have is gone, a small rock to hold in your hand or carry in your pocket would help remind them that people care.

I am grateful each and every day and did not need this big kick in the kiester to be reminded of that...still and all I cannot easily cast off the pall of sadness for this tremendous loss in our world. I think it's okay for me to feel these feelings for a while longer as I do get on with my day(s) and enjoy life, precious life...for how do we know when it will be our turn?
You are right your rocks rock! They bring smiles to many and I thank you for sharing them here.

Kim,

I generally don't watch the news, but have during this crisis. I do limit myself though and that does help. Painting rocks sounds like the perfect thing to do.

You BE awesome girl! I had to step back today too...too many videos, too much overload. My sweet niece is trying to get out of Tokyo with her fiance, and I had to just put this in God's hands and step back. I also spent the day in my studio, doing tasks that usually annoy me (cutting out patterns) but today I decided to be Zen in the little, blessed, peaceful tasks. Keep shining your beautiful light Kim, this world is brighter because of you.

Rock on my girl! The Rocks bring pleasure and laughter and joy and even tears of joy to so many. No wonder...They are magically created in a beautiful surround and eminate the joy they bring to the one who paints them and who knows what else as they played in the ocean and got so polished...They continue to bring magical moments at the office where they are displayed in a beautiful clear container on the counter in our reception area. So yes, Roch on precious girl!!
Love you, Mom

Your rocks are a wonderful place to take refuge in. And, many of us need refuge now.
