LK Ludwig at the Poetic Eye had the idea of making today A Day of Sharing Words. To know more, go here.
Today I choose to share these words with you. Read them slowly and let them in :
"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn't serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We are born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us, it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.” (Marianne Williamson : A Return To Love: Reflections on the Principles of A Course in Miracles )
About the words I chose to share :
Whenever I read these words, I feel a thrill rush through my soul. A thrill at the possibility of this truth. Don't hide that light. Shine that light. May we all shine on.

I have always found the things Marianne Williamson has to say are very profound, deep and true. ♥
Thank you! It is good to be reminded of this today. I am going to share this with my daughter :-)
What a wonderful choice of words. Thanks for sharing them!
Bonjour Kim! Thanks for stopping by my blog regularly, it is so appreciated, you have no idea! Your computer from hell story made me laugh. Here's my advice: Hang a bunch of garlic above your screen, type on your keyboards with your fingers crossed and never, never tell your computer it is your best friend!!! Hey, before I forget! My friend Nadine in Paris received her rock and guess what she did with it? She took it way up on the Eiffel Tower and left it there in a corner !!! Isn't it great? Have a great day! LuLu
I've always found that when something is true it appears in many forms. The combination of Marianne Williamson and John Lennon affirming this truth is powerful. Thanks, Kim, for these wise words.
Great words Kim. Thanks for stopping by my blog and commenting. Those pictures were taken in Vermont...not to far from you. I didn't even realize there was a heart until I was getting the pictures ready for posting. It was a fun discovery.
I adore that quote! Thank you for reminding me of it!

Beautiful. I have goose bumps and I dare not watch John Lennon or I'll burst out crying. Thank you. xo
You are awesome!!! Beautiful and much needed words today especially.
I have read that before and like you it gives me goosebumps every time, what a concept. I used to have a teacher that would ask me if I was afraid of success? Weird but should be considered. huh?
I love this piece. It's so powerful.
I should post this over my work table! Thanks for sharing it with me.
Great words and great song!! I LOVE that song! I love the Beatles.

Oh man, these kittens are keeping me really busy. I saw this post earlier, but couldn't get away to say anything.
This post spoke to me very deeply. Thank you. I am going to 'shine my light' on my blog tomorrow.
And John just rocks! I danced. I think he was laughing at me though. Ah, knowing John, it was WITH me. ;)
