Yes, my girlfriend doggie was named after my favorite Abba song and
one of the best polkas in the world.
The word Chiquitita rough translates to "little girl" in Spanish.
The lyrics of the song say " Sing a new song, Chiqui- ti - ta"...
and spending time with my little blond girl
always makes me sing a new song...
So in celebration of our first trip to the watering hole for Summer 2010
and because I screwed up and missed putting the microphone on my camera
when I was taping

Oh my gosh! What wonderful girl you have there! How lucky you both are to have each other! I love retrievers and love taking them to the water. I had the greatest Chesapeake Bay Retriever - she was my red dog girl!
