August Break Prompt : Blue

No blues skies in Apollo Beach today.

Big boomers and close lightening strikes have been the order of the day since about 5:00am.

Finding other ways to let the sun shine through.

Tomorrow, meeting up with three new potential girlfriends !

I reached out to some fellow Patti Digh-Hards, as my hubby calls them, Facebook friends who leave relatively close by,

and asked them to meet me for lunch.

Needing new tribe members here in FL !

We meet in St. Pete’s tomorrow.

A little nervous and a lot excited.

Proud of my brave self.

On Being a Love Magnet…

So since I have decided that

and begun living my life putting love out into the world wherever I can,

it would seem that the Universe has decided I should

as well!

You see, recently, this little

Beth from be yourself, everyone else is taken,

decided to

, an extremely generous spirit !

She took a chance and decided to

me and a few other blog friends to join her on an adventure !

Now, we have never met in person, though we have gabbed on the phone a few times.

But though I have never seen her in the flesh, I know this lovely woman by heart.

So I said

to her generous and sweet proposal.

Now, tomorrow morning,

in spite of the fact that I really hate flying.

I am actually pretty damned afraid of it, especially on my own.

But you know what ?

So I am using my love of Beth’s generosity and her big, big heart, my love of adventure and my desire to shower my Self with love more often,

I am heading out !

Sometimes You Have To Leap !

So what do you do when life puts some big obstacle across your path ?

(Rock My World rock walk adventure - March 2009)

Have you wondered at all about the Rock My World adventures ? They are still on going, though winter has been a s l o w season for the most part. Little painted love rocks quickly get lost in the big bad white snow so there was no leaving them outside over the winter. I did give a few bags full away as gifties for Christmas. Many people I gave them to have been doing a great job of spreading the LOVE ! Tomorrow, I will give you a little Rock My World Update.

For now, it is just too beautiful a day to sit at the computer ! Off to drop a special give-away package in the mail to a Commuter friend, and then to enjoy the snow melting sun and the warm Spring weather in NH !

Rise Up and be Thankful

It would be so easy to give into the fear, into the worry, into the "bad" stuff. God knows, there are enough choices of bad stuff to choose from if that is where you want to go ! But to rise up and be thankful in the face of all that, that is where it takes real courage and real strength. Trisha at Boffo Panda has real courage and real strength and shows it. So many other powerful women and men I know, in BlogLand, and in my own tighter circle have it and show it.

I am going to summon all my strength and courage today and show it. I am going to rise up and find the beauty and love in this hurt world today and celebrate it and be oh so very very thankful for it.

It will take strength and it will take courage, but guess what ?

I have it in me.
