You Get What You Pray For...

So I was having an okay day on the outside, but my insides where pretty of shaky.

Instead of keeping it all bottled up,

I put it all out there,

I spoke up,

I asked for help,

I prayed.

And it didn't take long until I received exactly what I needed...

There, on the road with me,

was the most glorious field of wildflowers,

offering me comfort,

celebrating how beautiful life can be,

and shining their gorgeous LOVE of life for all to see.

In this crazy world economy,

it sure is nice to know

you can always get what you pray for...

Thank you, Wildflowers !

(EDIT **** Hey Beautiful Ones! You are the Wildflowers !

I guess I was a little too poetic for you to figure it out !

You are the Wildflowers who comforted and surrounded me with love

just when I put the prayers for help out there!

Thank you to you, My Blogland Wildflowers !!!!)

Today is a new day...

Oh look at that happy smile!!! :)
Yes, yes, yes...we do get what we pray for. Sometimes we don't...and when that happens it's a good thing too...I always give thanks for what I have and what I don't have. I'm glad that yesterday you received the love from the wildflowers...because when a prayer is deserved...what more can you ask for!?!?

A beautiful gift and answer to your prayers Kim!
I think when I pray, the act itself helps to shift my own awareness, and the gifts that are truly always there for me suddenly glow - often the answers to my prayers were already there, but by asking, I notice and am open to their call around that next bend. Your free abandon and appreciation of nature's simple beauty as the answer to your prayer also highlights your beauty dear Kim - you glow with those gorgeous yellow wildflowers!! xox Karin

Prayer and flowers, two of my favorite things, and two that never fail to restore my soul. I'm so glad they work for you too!

Awww, this is awesome! I love it :)

breathe as me said...

i never used to see my prayers being answered... and then one day i finally understood it was because i wasn't looking... was too blind to realize they were always being answered... the prayer itself is often times the answer... and all it takes is that one little shift in my own awareness to understand and to see...

you bring such emotion and openness to your posts... your heart is a beautiful and tender place, and so often you are the answer to the prayers of others as well...

(((hugs)))
