Wishcasting Wednesday–Shedding Old Beliefs…

Wishcasting

Jamie asked “What do you wish to shed ?”

My first thought was of course, pounds !

But really, even more than excess weight,

what I wish to shed is the idea that I am somehow broken,

in need of fixing,

unworthy,

bad.

P3170043

I truly believe in my deepest heart of hearts that the only way to improve, to grow,

to learn to really love myself,

is to learn to focus on what is right about me,

what is perfectly imperfect about me right this minute,

and what is GOOD.

Not sure why this is always so hard but I know this is the answer.

I wish to shed the belief that I am “bad”, for my own good….

Wishing you a Good Wednesday, Wonderful Ones.

Definitiely not broken Big Heart, but I know we all suffer from that curse. We are so fragile, we could learn from our beloved animals, they always thing we are good and worth loving. xox Corrine

You are such an amazing woman, and I am so glad I found you. You have inspired me in so many ways.

As you wish for yourself, I DEEPLY wish for you as well!

Many of us are making the same wish...none of us are broken..we are all beautiful and perfect the way we are, and you are too, right here and right now.

As you wish for yourself, I so wish for you as well...

I really love that image and the message on it - it's something I think a lot of us have to remind ourselves of sometimes.

As you wish for yourself, so I wish for you also!

I'm battling this one right beside you lovely Kim. And love the blessings everyone has given here, so I will echo... as you wish for yourself, so I wish for you as well.

You are definitely not broken or unworthy. And I can totally relate to those feelings. I need to shed them with you.

As Kim wishes for herself, I wish also for her!

I love this, Kim! I can see first-hand how it happens...how we learn to think we're bad instead of good as I watch my seven year old struggle with "being bad" at school. I keep trying to wash this perception out of his little noggin, but it sticks so fast and so strong when we're little. And follows us into adulthood. You're so right that nobody's really broken...just perfect in our imperfections.

Oh yes, yes, yes. How to fix what isn't broken? There is no answer because no answer is required. xo

Kimmy,
You always were and still are beautiful! Inside and out! You are successful, loving, kind, responsible, gentle, very strong! and so much more. Most of all you are a child of God and that makes you perfect just as you are. I love you and I wish you enough. Enough of everything always! Enough strength, enough money, enough everything! Actually life always provides enough:):) Love you my beautiful, brave, innovative, creative, loving and I could go on...daughter.

I agree that everything has to start there...with complete and total self-love and self-acceptance. Lately I have been trying meridian tapping for this with great success. I got total relief from all anxiety for four weeks after my first 10-minute exercise. There are lots of free demos of this on YouTube.
