A Night Time Sea

I spent some time creating a new piece that I really love and I took pictures along the way.

I created this slideshow/video to show you how the piece came to be.

Creating a slideshow/video of my artistic process takes about as longer or maybe even longer than creating the actual piece of art !

It is kind of a labor of Love though.

I enjoy using Windows Live Movie Maker. It is pretty user friendly and pushes me a little to learn new stuff.

So, Let’s watch the Queen creating, shall we ?

Enjoy !

Happy Monday!

I hope your week is a creative one.

Big Love !

Love the LaRousse! You are sharing your secrets, and I'm glad you are! I have Inktense and am going to go from here right into the studio...I also have Twinkling H2O's...pretty darn exciting.

So beautiful, My Queen! "A Fishy Friend" works for me, too. And I Love Your Pink Hair and Tiara!!

Wow, Kim- she's BEAUTIFUL. I loved watching the process. I am so inspired now to do more with my collection of random printed papers (especially my GIANT book of ancient maps I got at Borders on super clearance for $2!) other than use them as big square backgrounds and accents... And I haven't heard that song in forever, and when it started I went "ohhhhhhhh" out loud. Awesome!! BTW, you totally got me hooked on my Twinkling H20s again- I pulled them out last week after you mentioned them on a Facebook post and now I want MORE! :)

What fun! A video! You are one creative chicklet, Kimmy-poo. Love the colour bursts in your mermaid picture, so rich, so very "you"! I picked up that Eva Cassidy CD at Chapters last week and it has been on ever since.

Hi Kim, Super! I enjoyed the process and the finished piece. The barely-there white waves made with the corragated cardboard is a great tip.
