Kim, you are able to find the joy in the everyday, in the small things...being able to do that means that all the bigger things that are so "obvious" contain even more joy.

So much beauty! I have a box just like yours with embroidery floss all wrapped that way. I found it at a garage sale!!!! $2. I use it on my art quilts!!!

Kim, your embroidery floss picture remind me of this delightful lady I met when I did the thread project. (Http://threadproject.com). This older lady came with some threads for me. It was a box of embroidery floss that her mother had bought in the 1930's. It looks really different from the embroidery floss you get today. I feel very privileged to use it.
