From this week’s Joy List :
In the Queen of Arts Studio this morning…
“Rejoicing in ordinary things is not sentimental or trite. It actually takes guts. Each time we drop our complaints and allow everyday good fortune to inspire us, we enter the warrior’s world.” – Pema Chodron
The sun through yonder stain glass…
Black and white furry friends…
A crystal ball at work…
Green Buddha and his shadow…
Embroidery floss rainbow…
Cigar boxes full of possibility…
Love all stitched up with some sweet dream herbs inside,
ready to go off to a friend in need…
Rejoice, my Beautiful Warrior Friends !
For more sharing the joy, visit Meri at Meri’s Musings every Thursday.

I love the rocks in your header and your cute furry friends! Hope your friend is okay!
Kim, you are able to find the joy in the everyday, in the small things...being able to do that means that all the bigger things that are so "obvious" contain even more joy.
I love that quote...it's ringing right through my spirit and my soul this morning.

Rejoice. One of those words that sounds like what it is! Rejoice indeed.
I couldn't agree more, when you feel low just thinking about your sacred ordinary blessing lifts you up a notch! x

Where would we be without the comfort of ordinary things Kim! Love yours, especially your furry friends!
Kim, your embroidery floss picture remind me of this delightful lady I met when I did the thread project. (Http://threadproject.com). This older lady came with some threads for me. It was a box of embroidery floss that her mother had bought in the 1930's. It looks really different from the embroidery floss you get today. I feel very privileged to use it.
this is full of so much love, joy and juicy goodness!!
