Haiku my Heart - Lakeside

I

Bluebells, orange Lilies,
Artist and her furry charge,
Bloom by the lakeside.

It is hot and steamy in Vermont. Feels more like FLA today. Luna and I will stay as chill as possible in our lakeside hang out.
Happy Friday, Beautiful Ones!

Just so you know...it isn't steamy here in FL right now. It has rained for 5 days straight...BIG rain...and more to come. But of course there is always next week when the steam returns. Luna is soooo cute. Is she a doxie?

Do dogs bloom? Well, of course, silly teacher! Haven't you heard of dogwood blossoms?

Those blooms are gorgeous despite the temperatures, which sound like a hot house indeed! Luna looks like she's hunting for something... she knows a good trail, she does... thank you for these blooms...

It always surprises me that the New England States can feel tropical. I wonder why that is?

so much beauty here today, and such a welcome sight!
here in Prescott, Az. this has been a devastating week to navigate. on friday after posting haiku my heart we went to the courthouse for the annual kiddie parade. nothing prepared us for the amazing honoring these children all came together to offer to our town. i redid my haiku page with photographs of the youngest of prescott offering their hearts as only children can. sunday standing outside on the road into prescott as each young man returned home was overwhelming in the enormity of loss striking so many families. it is heart warming to see our community come together in a force of love for all those torn apart by the enormity of loss. today although arriving late for haiku my heart i am content to sail away with you across peaceful waters.
