From this week’s Joy List :

Furry kid love…

Bedroom cat, Pumpkin who is the most loving purr kitty around,

as long as it is with me,

and not another furry kid.

And this pig pile of cats and dog at the end of the couch.

Pile of cuteness !

The Mish Mash fun I am having with Deb Taylor, who encouraged us to make prayer flags this week.

My stitched Rock Being Balance flag is now winging its way to a dear friend as a special gift filled with love and faith along with some other Rock Fairy goodies.

A last bouquet of flowers from around the house.

Black-eyed Susan, Sedum, and one Rose of Sharon joined the Hosta leaves.

Yay !

My Mom is driving down for a long weekend.

It is supposed to be gorgeous for the next few days and you can be sure we will take advantage of it with a trip to the beach…

Oooh I felt the joy! What a gorgeous prayer flag. I was just thinking last night that I should make some when I'm locked in recuperating. Love that fur pile by the way ;)

Kim, hello. Thank you for visiting me, and leaving your sweet comment.

Oh, your visit with your mom sounds like it will be delightful. Enjoy it! I miss my mom, terribly. She's a sweet ball of Light energy now flitting around and enjoying her new heavenly abode. At least that's how she appeared to me in a dream.

Now I'm off to see your worried rock painting.

Blessings for a wonderful mother/daugther time,

Marianne

You SO know how to feel the joy and share the joy and spread the joy. Special time with your mother (I love that jacket/sweater of her's!), and all your furry loves, and flowers, and creating and then sharing again -- that prayer flag is awesome and made with authentic love...you kinda just made my day. I've been feel "off" (cold or allergies, can't tell) and was feeling a bit weepy for myself...and seeing your joy lifted my heart and my tired old soul and now I feel like I can just give thanks today -- for special people like you in my life. xo And now I'll get off my backside and get to work on a few things that have been crying out for my attention. See the kind of thing you do?? You are infectious!!! In every good way! xo

What fun! I had a visit with my Mommy yesterday. . . for her visit to the cardiologist's office. No playing on the visit, but I think there's a plan to get things back on track. Haven't had a chance to make prayer flags -- too much going on in my life and with the house on the market, I can't make an artsy mess.
