Haiku My Heart Friday–Beware the Mind’s Eye

Mind’s eyes have visions.

But some are completely unreal.

Use a grain of heart.

Pain=Change

That is one of the things I write on my Rock My World rocks, because I know it is true.

A dear friend said something to me yesterday that rang very, very true as well.

When the pain you feel over not changing something becomes more painful than it would be to actually make the change happen, that is when the real change starts.

I think I am almost there…

I hope you have a wonderful, heart-y Friday, Beautiful Ones.

Big Love !

Lovely page, love the pun with pain's gray. Lots of juicy ness going on here. I hope you are coming out of the other side of your depression. It is so hard in winter sometimes. BUt having art to pull you through is the best feeling.

Have a great weekend...

Kate

Your words reminds me of a quote from Anais Nin, I once used for an art journal piece.

"And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom" ~ Anais Nin ~

We all search for the tipping point that marks the pivot into change and away from should.

This is why you are our Queen of Arts/Hearts -- out there on the front lines bravely facing the dragons and showing us the way back to joy. Long live the Queen!

I love your art. I like thinking of it as "The heart's eye".
In case you haven't seen this post on my blog a few weeks ago, I think you should take a look. It is about a Mail Art Call that is being run by a good friend of mine. Looking at your art work on this post makes me think you might consider sending a submission.
Good stuff here today.

Peace

How very true... that the pain from not changing is many times worse than what you feel when you finally make the change... Beautiful haiku...

Yay for Haikus and friends and listening to your heart. It's all meant to be good, it's all meant to heal.

Sorry about that..started with your comment and then it got mixed with another LOL!!

Great art work and lovely words too.
When you make those changes, it can be an effort, but when it happens routinely, and you change another's life with a grain of love, you surely will see the radiant glow within you and all around.

Have a great day!!
