Haiku my Heart–Around and Around We go…

photo

(Kate, August 2012, Hampton Beach, NH)

Around and around,

This merry-go-round of Life.

Enjoy the sweet ride.

**********

This week has been filled with such joy for me!

Having my sister Kristina, her hubby John, big brother Thomas and little chickie Katie here has been wonderful ! We have had very full days in the best possible ways.

At the same time as I have been BEing where I am and soaking it all in,

part of me has been with friends who have been facing life’s hardest kinds of challenges,

sending prayers, and keeping my Heart light shining as brightly as I can for them.

Another part of me has been wishing so strongly that I could take their fears and pain away, and bring them to where I have been this week,

and keep us all there forever !

It doesn’t work that way,

no matter how much this big loving Heart of mine wishes for it!

So, instead, I do the other important Heart job to the best of my ability.

I live in a space of gratitude,

and celebrate exactly where I am on this precious, bittersweet ride called Life.

From this place of gratitude and Love,

I wish you the happiest of Fridays, Beautiful Ones !

Wanting to take away someone else's pain and fears is what being a caring heart is all about...but your heart is wise enough to know that isn't the way the world works and it isn't possible. Instead you shine your light and your heart and envelope others with your love. The world needs more people like you.

As for the short ride...I hope the smile on the chickie's face meant that she got to have another go...you take those extra rides where you can get them!!! ♥

Your outlook is uplifting and generous. I feel it in every word, every work of art, every cyber visit you make. It is a good way to BE. You are an inspiration. My Haiku speaks of a Merry-Go-Round, at least the roundness of it. Like minds today methinks.
Glad you had a great time. Glad you are here.

Peace

i am struck with your words and spadoman's ...i love the shared image of a round circle. the wisdom of accepting our place in the wheel of life, and living our connection to all. to live love is the greatest offering. you are such a generous offering of this.

Of course, we could jump off the ride, but what fun would that be?

Isn't it amazing when we realize we are exactly where we are meant to be? Loved talking to you this morning my amazing friend.

Hello Kim, I love jumping on this merry go round with you through your haiku and that darling picture of your niece! Sometimes... I think the most important job in the world is being able to be in a place of sweet joy. In radiating joy, happiness, and gratitude, you infuse everything around you, around you... Thank you so!

Yes, life is such a mix of ups and downs, sweet and bitter, sad and happy, going with the flow not always easy but necessary. Sounds like you have a good handle on it.

Wonderful photo of wonderful moment!

Hugs on soft rocks from me.

I share your thankful heart. We should always focus on our blessings, then other things fade away.

Such a wonderful post. I was reminded to live in the moment this week. There was a boating accident in town and a casual friend of mine was killed. I am still so surprised this happened and to someone I knew. I will miss her sweet soul.
We never know how long we have with this precious life. Enjoy each and every moment.
