The dark side is no match for those who love you! And if you can create art, including your beautiful self with a painted on mustache and your tongue sticking out saying "oh yeah???", then I think you're gonna make it...only 6 days left of this dismal month. We'll hold hands and walk each other through them and raise our faces to the sky as March approaches and say "we're ready!!!". Love you my beautiful soul friend. xoxo

I honestly don't know of a more beautiful soul than yours, dear Kim. Love lives in you and your heart and cannot ever be far from the heart of that darker self.

Peace

I would say Help is IN the Way too; In the way you write, in the way you paint, in the way you smile, in the way you create magic around you, in the way you blog, in the way you treat your friends and fammily, in the way you see love in the dark or shadowy parts! You are the way of Love precious daughter. Do you see how awesome you are? Your are a magical, beautiful One. Marianne Williamson said something like 'we are more afraid to see how amazing we really are'.... Be not afraid. Look!
I love you my beautiful one. xoxoxo

We all love "Pirate Kim"! Being honest and open and big-hearted is the way to shed light into all these dark places in ourselves. You're a master!

Letting the darker self out on a page sometimes creates the most awesome unusual and special art, like these pages. I ♥ them!

Your dark shadow isn't you, but it does show you the places where you are in need of healing! And guess what - your light has ALL the tools you need to mend! Your journal entries are wonderfully creative this week!

Ha! We all have them...I love how you take "doodling" to such a higher form, and transcend the darkness into love!

I hear you Kim!
Easier to tame this year, but not to be forgotten...hang in there, spring should be here in about 8 weeks :D
I know. That's not funny, but it is true. Don't you the summer would drag on like winter wants to do?
I love you
and think about you on days like these...
the mustache kinda helps...
it looks good on you ♥♥♥

Loving the dark side of our moon can be the hardest but its the part that often needs it most. Thanks for the beautiful reminder. Lots of love...

Ah... the harder to love bits - I know some of those. Personally.

Beautiful thoughts to lighten up the Dark.

I am hoping that as I get older, the nasty bits of myself disappear and are replaced with a kinder, friendlier persona!
Love your journal...and the mustache is great!!

i LOVe you kim! you have a way of disarming the darker bits with your love of life and sparkly ability to embrace the light in any moment.
just noticing the short dark days of winter growing longer in light is a life line of encouragement. add to that all your loyal friends as bright as stars in their love for you and you will need sunglasses morning, noon and night!

aww- this is great. So inspirational for me right now cause there's lots of dark sharp corners trying to overtake the sunshine.

Journals are just the best places to dump parts of ourselves that don't need to be escaping to the outside world. Pen, paint, and paper = The Cure.

it isn't always easy to accept the dark side...love your pages, so refreshing & honest...it isn't all rainbows and lollipops, is it...bearing the winter with you as my bloggy neighbor is much easier...love your haiku

well, I must send some back to you because of how much I love the card I bought from you. I'm looking for a proper frame to display it because my family (I love them dearly) tends to throw cards away once viewed. I, on the other hand, either put them in pretty boxes or scrapbook them.
I love the sunlight that radiates from your art work.
