Look into tiny
In the midst of overwhelm
You can find Heaven.
***************************
I had already taken some “tiny” photos this morning when my Magic Maker/Artist friend, Elizabeth, posted this link on on Facebook, about “tiny studies” in your creativity.
In a week that has felt overwhelmingly grey and rather heavy,
the notion of going tiny,
looking at a pebble,
making a stitch,
taking one bite,
going in for a macro shot
feels comforting and manageable,
and just whelming enough.
I am going tiny and accepting the grey, in its many, many shade, today.
May your day be just whelming enough too, Beautiful Ones!
Happy Friday !

This Haiku has got to be one of the best ones I have ever read! I love it!!! You are a genius my girl. Sending you sunshine!!!
I love you,
Mom
your response
to Tiny Studies
gave me a synchronistic rush
of the "goosies"
such sweet sharing
and
sinking into the joys
of each and most
allowing and trusting
overwhelm
in the pleasure
of this deLIGHTfully
sensual life...

As a young child I discovered the world of tiny in the undergrowth.
It's magic there. Connects me with spirit. Anytime I want I can revisit it. Thanks for memory.
oh kim these would be lovely to share with I Heart Macro tomorrow night too:-)
Lily of the Valley may be tiny, but its fragrance is powerful enough to enchant the universe!
tiny moments can be the largest treasures of each and every
single day!
Ypu can get pleasantly lost in the details of tiny.
Oh, yes! Zeroing in on the tiny pieces is so rewarding.
Love the whelming without the "over."
Tiny like my rosébud...can bring consolation and joy !! Wishing you well! Cathy

happy weekend!
Tiny vignettes of perfect places on this gray day. xox
Oh, I LOVE this idea. Exactly what I needed on this day of "just a bit too much!"
I'm grinning by the use of whelming. Something manageable. Love your tinies and thanks for the link to your friend's blog. Hope your next week goes a whole lot better, Kim.
In the spirit of this, I am nibbling on the ideas. On the macro end of things, I was just told by a telemarketer that I don't have to swear into the phone (this after saying "hello" five times and having no response on the other end). If I hadn't hung up so quickly I would have given her many reasons why I do indeed have to swear into the phone after running for it and finding no body on the other end until she deigned to pick up her end. And why should this even be an issue? Well, because it is a small, small thing! love to you, my fellow kimmypoo!
A nice take on the 'the important little things.' That's a lovely promise of finding heaven.
LOVE your tiny wisdom!
(+ lily of the valley is one of my very favorites!!!!)
thank you, dear xoxo
Beautiful, I love the idea of small. Need to start playing with my macro lens.

Being away for as long as I have been, one of the things I've missed most is visiting here. xoxox
Well now I feel totally affirmed .... I live in a gray clime and have a passion for all things tiny. I LOVE your haiku most of all and will pencil it down as a reminder on my desk. Lovely lovely ....
