From this week’s Joy List…

I’m not going to lie.

Last week’s eb immersion workshop was wonderful

but I have been extremely tired and wiped out since I got home.

Just enough energy to lie about with my furry babies and snuggle…

and reconnect with this sweet bundle of joy, My Cute Hubby Man.

Finally, after a really good night’s sleep last night,

I am feeling more like myself today!

I had the energy to photograph and list some goodies in the old Etsy shop.

Magical time…

A marvelous week was had by all at the Lake House in Charlotte,

as e.b. shared her magic making skills !

Miss Luna watched over us all and ate many a carrot rolled in cheese !

The magic makers in training,

Linda Lovely,

Judi, Wendy, and Linda Charlotte

dove right in, rusting up a storm…

There were a multitude of bundles of eucalyptus, wool and silk,

that, once opened up, filled the clothes line with textile treasures !

My own favorite new discovery was the purple, grey, silver wonders

that came from dyeing with spring time smoke bush leaves from e.b.’s garden…

Luscious !!!

And of course, the lake provide us with magical golden hours to savor a day of hard but satisfying work…

and our beautiful hostess with the mostest, generously shared her home, art and magic with us, with a happy twinkle in her eye and a full heart.

The Lake House awaits !

Leaving my back deck flowers for David to take care of for a bit,

this happy lady is off to Vermont and

the eb immersion lake house workshops.

The Rogue-y is full up with art goodies from wool felt and silk to embroidery floss, and

rust-able watercolor paper to tea bags filled with drippy possibilities !

I am so excited !

One of the participants arriving on Wednesday is my dear friend, Linda who I met long ago at Squam, and it will be great to be with her and play !

Plus, I get to spend precious time with one of my favorite people on the planet,

Ms. E.B. herself !

Feeling very very blessed.

Home from Montreal and Mont Tremblant.

Had a sweet vacay with David.

Had some sweet times with family. Adore my nieces and nephews !

Attended an appointment with the cardiologist with my Mom. She is doing super well and got the all clear to resume all of her normal activities. Yay !

Yoga in the pool starts today at my friend Patti’s house – pool is heated ! Phew !

Gathering supplies for eb’s Lake House Art Workshop next week – I will be den mother and magic maker’s assistant for the gathering.

Look into tiny

In the midst of overwhelm

I had already taken some “tiny” photos this morning when my Magic Maker/Artist friend, Elizabeth, posted this link on on Facebook, about “tiny studies” in your creativity.

In a week that has felt overwhelmingly grey and rather heavy,

the notion of going tiny,

looking at a pebble,

making a stitch,

taking one bite,

going in for a macro shot

feels comforting and manageable,

and just whelming enough.

I am going tiny and accepting the grey, in its many, many shade, today.

May your day be just whelming enough too, Beautiful Ones!

Springing back…

Hello there, Beautiful Ones !

I have been away quite awhile !

I spent some marvelous time with my lovely Magic Maker friend, Elizabeth,

tea time,

lake views,

and as always, creative time, savoring the gifts of nature and our imaginations…

Then there was a sweet weekend celebrating my beautiful Mom !

It was a special birthday celebration this year and I am so grateful that she was surrounded with such glowing love by her favorite peeps !

Now, back here at home, spring finally truly sprung !

This luscious bouquet is from my own gardens.

Even the lilacs have joined in the flower song this morning !

Happy and I are breathing it all in !

I am full of inspiration and brave new energy, just like every blossom and bursting leaf.

Feels good and I am grateful that I took some time for me to recharge and energize.

Today it is supposed to reach 80 degrees in Manchester !

I think a visit to the beach with an umbrella, chair and some rocks to paint may be in order this afternoon.

The rest of the week is supposed to bring some very much needed rain so I will happily head back into the studio then.
