Monday morning bits…
Latest art journal page
Came out of a doodle session in front of the t.v., using Pitt artist pens and a water soluble pencil.
The color was done this morning with InkTense pencils and a blending brush.
The quote from Leonard Cohen just kind of fit.
The drawing is pretty cracked, don’t you think ?
A rainy weekend has given way to a still rainy Monday.
I have to find my bright in the sunshiny faces of the marigolds right now.
But that’s okay !
I am going to be putting on my new purple Keen Venice shoes that are waterproof,
grabbing my arty buddy Colleen,
filling the Rogue-y with lots of art materials and vino,
and heading north to the shores of Lake Champlain in Vermont,
on a sweet art making adventure with
the amazing
(photo from Elizabeth’s blog, Be…Dream…Play)
Elizabeth has been preparing her lake house studio to receive Colleen and me for a special workshop where she will be sharing her juicy techniques for dying natural fabrics with a wide variety of natural materials such as rust, eucalyptus leaves, bleach, etc…
There will be fun with paper too, and the creation of a small journal with all of our hand-made bits.
There will be walks on the shore to find stripy rocks !
Most of all, there will be creative time in a beautiful setting with open and beautiful artist hearts !
I feel so very blessed to have this awesome opportunity and so grateful that Colleen and I will get to share it together. Thank you, my Friend !
We leave Wednesday, so the next few days are all about the gathering of all that will fit in the Rogue !
I hope your Monday is off to an exciting start too, Beautiful Ones.
Big Love !
PS : Check Out this amazing post on eb’s Be…Dream…Play to get a glimpse of what awaits us !!! Yippee !
