Keep Walking...

Keep walking, though there's no place to get to.

Don't try to see the distances.

That's not for human beings.

Move within, but don't move the way fear makes you move.

Today, like every other day, we wake up empty & frightened.

Don't open the door to study and begin reading.

Take down a musical instrument.

Let the beauty we love be what we do.

There are hundreds of ways to kneel and kiss the ground.

I love Rumi -- and I love your photographs..."keep walking though there's no place to get to" - I love that thought. Sometimes we don't have a destination, sometimes we don't have a plan. Sometimes we just have to start walking and it's the act of walking that gets us where we need to be.

This morning I awoke full of anxiety and uncertainty (unusual for me, but very real and acute today). I happened upon your beautiful post and was comforted. I will hang on to Rumi's words and probably return here as needed for a reminder!

Thank you and hugs,
Alberta
