Painting is good for the Soul...

Here is a little video I created about my awesome creative experience in the studio yesterday!

I think it actually took me longer to create the video with Windows Movie Maker than it did to create the piece of art featured here !

But that's okay.

I learned a lot

and I am pretty proud of the whole damn thing !

Enjoy !

(Music by Neil Young - The Painter, from Prairie Wind, 2005)

Happy Wednesday !

Oh you are so right! Wow indeed! I enjoyed viewing your process. I have several partially done works that could use complete abandon. Thank you for the nudge!
Your painting really is fabulous!

Oh Kimmypoo! This is an amazing video and an incredibly inspired and inspiring painting! Amazing what a $2.99 canvas will evolve into. That one eye poking out speaks to me, in so many, many ways.

What a great result! And I sooooo enjoyed seeing your step by step. Fearless is the key, isn't it? But so easy to say and so hard to do. You did great though!
Congratulations.

You're lucky you don't live close by, Queen. I'd be pounding on your door to give you a huge squeeze hug because you live life large. Awesome connection to your spirit, great video/song, and beautiful work with great title. I love to see how it transitioned from the original contemplative piece into one that speaks volumes. You rock! Get it? Get it? Rock girl ROCKS! Ok it's way too early (hee hee)
