Smile evokers all

Close up, grouped together,

Little Happies rule.

***************

There is something so soothing and present moment about placing things on an altar for me.

Each piece tells you where it wants to go if you listen.

These things gathered with my Little Happy Buddha this morning

all made me smile.

In remembrance of where they came from, how they came to me, and how they now feel right somehow, gathered together into this vignette, this moment in time and space.

Phew, philosophical, huh ?

Winking smile

Really, grouping little things together makes me joyful and calm.

That’s why I do it.

Do you do or feel the same ?

****************

For some more lovely little things gathered together, visit the amazing Rebecca at recuerda mi corazon for a haiku or two…

Happy Friday, Beautiful Ones !

Little Happies - how cute! I love how little altars everywhere spring up because of them!

Playing with my things...creating vignettes...real-life snapshots. That is one of my favorite things to do. I love the phrase Little Happies :]

Dear Kim, your post makes me smile indeed! And yes, I too find that when I place objects together, listening, that something happens... it is something I too love to do. Thank you for sharing these happies with us!

Your little happies made me happy! They look at home with Buddha too!

Although the personal philosophy that you expounded upon on this post makes perfect sense to me, any philosophy need not follow parameters. I sometimes see things that need to be placed on an altar, (or NOT placed on an altar), even though they are not of the same ilk. If you see it needs to be so, and you see this with your heart, then it is good. Let no person put asunder.
You've made me happy just knowing you're happy.

Much Peace and happiness

Your grouping of "little happies" makes me smile...I can see why it makes you happy. What a gentle reminder to all of us -- how simple to make our own grouping/gathering of little happies. For all the times we're feeling down or stressed or feeling a little lost and hopeless...one glance at your happy place is all you need. Love you! xo

You are so right, got me thinking how I tend to group things precious close together, that reminds me I need to get my last sea trip pebbles and razor shell into the group ~ thanks for the prompt! x

It's the little things that make life grand!

I do this all the time but i think if i started putting my little happies all in one spot, make more of a designated altar it would make me happier, where as now i end up thinking of them as clutter which of course they are not. You have inspired me to make an altar just for myself somewhere here. Plus i love your words, little happies!

What a great example of "the little things" that make us smile and sometimes mean the most!

The little things are more valuable than the bigger things. What a nicely crafted haiku.
