Haiku My Heart– Love is right.

DSC06019

I want to be right.

But I want to dwell in Love.

Love wins every time.

**********************

Something I am working on.

This inner battle between wanting to be right and

wanting to come from a place of Love in the decisions I make.

It comes up a lot in marriage, I find.

Going back to the roots,

back to Love,

feels a lot sweeter than being right does.

Once you swallow that lump. Winking smile

The piece above comes from the second section of the journal page I started  and posted about yesterday.

Haiku My Heart–The wind has stripped them bare.

DSC05593

My heart is tender.

Accepting the changing view

Takes a little time.

Working on accepting the “bare branch against the sky” look of winter that blew in overnight.

Not easy for this color-loving heart of mine.

Going to try and be gentle with myself about it.

Haiku My Heart - Friendship

P9210183 (shadow dancing – Colleen, Me, and Linda, Racing Beach, Falmouth, MA, Sept.2010)

My shadows, my light.

You have seen it all and stayed.

Thank you, Faithful Friend.

It is Friday ! Woo hoo!

We are experiencing the leftovers of Tropical Storm Nicole here in New Hampshire.

Crazy winds, extreme humidity and the sky just darkened into the kind of light you see in the late evening. A lot of rain coming down and flood warnings.

Welcome to October, my birthday month.

Feels like Change is coming…

I am ready for some.

Working on staying safe through the transition today…

Big love to you, Beautiful Ones !
